Kayla graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University in May 2017 with a B.A. in English. After graduating, Kayla worked as a University Assistant where she was involved with F-1/J-1 visa students as a DSO and ARO. She also acted as the National Student Exchange program coordinator, in addition to assisting with study abroad advising. Kayla now serves as the Graduate Assistant for Education Abroad as a graduate student in the Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) program at UConn. Some of her passions include: higher education, meal prepping, reading, traveling and playing with her 14 year old cocker spaniel, Cassey.
